Returning
Warriors™ Program
The Returning
Warriors™ program was designed for soldiers experiencing the
traumatic effects of warfare of all wars, including the Middle East.
Warfare is an ancient and mythic experience, and the effects it
has on soldiers are real. People returning from War are never the
same. War changes them, some more than others.
The effects of war trauma can be subtle or dramatic. They range
from persistent vigilance, insomnia, and generalized anxiety to violent
rage, substance abuse, criminal behavior, murder, and suicide.
Many veterans don’t recognize the symptoms. Some ignore them.
More are beginning to realize that something is seriously wrong.
The program is presented as either a weekend or a weeklong
retreat, with follow-up support through either weekend workshops
for soldiers and families, or referral to other ongoing
programs.

Sexual
Trauma and Abuse Recovery (STAR)™
The STAR program applies the techniques and methodology used
in the Returning Warriors™ program to the issue of
sexual trauma and abuse.
This program is for both men and women. Abuse can happen to
anyone at any age, and it is not gender specific.
Recent disclosures by popular
figures reveal that the prevalence of incest and family rape,
as well as family violence, is much greater than we have
previously thought. Survivors of this culturally most taboo
form of abuse have been driven even deeper inside and away
from the social scrutiny. However, help is also available to
them in this program.
STAR goes beyond contemporary traditional treatment. Using ancient
healing techniques practiced for thousands of years, the STAR program
helps to create a bridge between the traumatic experience of abuse
and the desire to become a thriving member of family and community
versus only a surviving member.
The program is presented as either a weekend or a weeklong retreat,
with follow-up support through either weekend workshops for participants
and families, or referral to other ongoing programs.
